Inter Milan see Man United winger Jadon Sancho as an opportunity to sign a high-level technical attacker with a low fee or on loan.

This according to Italian outlet Gazzetta.it. They report that the Nerazzurri feel that the Englishman is undervalued after a couple poor seasons at Manchester United.

Jadon Sancho has emerged as a potential surprise target for Inter Milan.

The 25-year-old is back at Manchester United after a season on loan with Chelsea.

Whilst it was a relatively positive season for Sancho at Stamford Bridge – even scoring in the Europa Conference League final against Real Betis – the Blues did not sign Sancho permanently.

Nevertheless, there is little doubt that United want to offload Sancho this summer. The England international does not have a place in the project at Old Trafford.

Inter View Man United Outcast Jadon Sancho As High-Level Bargain

According to the Gazzetta dello Sport, Inter believe that Sancho’s awkward situation at United makes him a bargain.

The Red Devils signed the Englishman for a whopping €68 million from Borussia Dortmund in 2021.

And furthermore, the fee that United paid that summer looked justified.

Sancho had been one of the outstanding young talents in Europe when the Red Devils signed him.

However, Sancho was not able to replicate his form from the Bundesliga in a United shirt.

Therefore, United want to offload the player once and for all this summer. Or at the very least, loan him out.

From Inter’s perspective, though, this makes Sancho a great opportunity.

The Nerazzurri believe that the 25-year-old’s technical quality means that he can re-find his level. He just needs to show more consistency.

Therefore, the Gazzetta report, Inter see Sancho as a plausible backup target for Ademola Lookman.
