Torino continued talks with Venezia over a deal for Gaetano Oristanio on Monday, while Alberto Grassi is nearing a permanent move to Cremonese.
Torino continue to work on deals to sign Cyril Ngonge from Napoli and Oristanio from Venezia, as the Granata aim to welcome two attacking wingers this summer.
Torino resumed talks with Venezia on Monday, promising an offer for a loan deal with an option to buy, which could become an obligation to purchase under certain conditions.
Venezia value Oristanio at over €10m, but Torino hope to lower the Lagunari’s demands, while the Italian winger has given priority to a move to the Stadio Grande Torino for now.
Elsewhere in Serie A, Grassi is nearing a move to Cremonese, who have appointed Davide Nicola as their new coach after their promotion from Serie B last season.
Sources with direct knowledge of the matter tell me that Nicola has approved Grassi’s transfer from Empoli, and talks between the two clubs are currently at an advanced stage.
Grassi is expected to join Cremonese on a permanent transfer.
