Diego Milito’s heroics and Wesley Sneijder’s vision. It is all fondly remembered by the Inter faithful. Plus, the steel of players like Javier Zanetti and Lucio made that team unstoppable. It was a season that defined an era.

2006/07 – Domestic Domination

With Juventus relegated and rivals in disarray, Inter took full advantage. The 2006/07 campaign saw them steamroll Serie A. They racked up 97 points. The team lost just once and went on a 17-match winning run that is still a record in Italian football.

Manchester City proved too strong in the end, but Inter held their own and even had chances to level the match late on. It was one of the closest and tensest finals we’ve seen.
