Thomas Frank weighing up dream signing, Tottenham would need to break transfer record

Tottenham Hotspur remain keen on signing the Crystal Palace midfielder Adam Wharton this summer. 

According to a report from GMS, the 21-year-old midfielder would be a dream signing for Thomas, Frank, and Tottenham continue to keep tabs on him, even though he will cost a substantial amount of money.

Tottenham would have to break their transfer record in order to sign the England international midfielder. However, Frank is a huge admirer, and Tottenham are not prepared to give up on the move. 

It will be interesting to see if Tottenham come forward with a substantial offer to sign the player in the coming weeks. They need a reliable defensive midfielder who can protect the back four and control games from the deep. Wharton could be the ideal acquisition for them in theory.

He is one of the most talented players in the Premier League right now, and signing him would be a major coup for Tottenham.
