Tottenham now keen on 'extraordinary' 27-G/A talent on Arsenal wishlist

Tottenham Hotspur have joined the race for the RB Leipzig striker Benjamin Sesko, and they will face competition from Arsenal, Chelsea, and Liverpool, as per CaughtOffside.

The Slovenian International is a player in demand this summer, and it remains to be seen where he ends up. He has the tools to develop into a top-class player with the right guidance, and he could be a key player for Tottenham if they can get the deal done. Tottenham have been tracking him for months.

Spurs need another striker

It is no secret that they need attacking reinforcements this summer. Dominic Solanke has had a mixed season, and Spurs need more depth in the attacking unit. Sesko has scored 21 goals this past season, and he has six assists to his name as well. He has been labelled as an “extraordinary” player.

Apart from his ability to find the back of the net, Sesko is excellent when it comes to taking on defenders with his pace and flair. He will help create opportunities for his teammates as well.

Can Tottenham afford Benjamin Sesko?

Multiple clubs are keen on securing his signature, and he will cost €80 million this summer. It remains to be seen whether Tottenham are prepared to pay up. They have secured Champions League qualification for the next season, and they could be an attractive destination for top players this summer. However, they need to improve multiple areas of their squad and spending €80 million on Sesko could prove to be difficult.

Meanwhile, Arsenal need a quality striker, and they have the resources to pay a premium for the Slovenian. It remains to be seen whether they can win the race for his signature. The lack of a quality centre forward has cost them in recent seasons, and they will look to address that problem this summer.
