Marc Cucurella is a happy man. Ever since Spain tasted victory over England in the Euro final, the player has been on cloud nine. Cucurella has also made no effort to conceal his excitement in his celebrations and chants.
A clip from Spain’s trophy celebrations show just how ‘lost’ Cucurella was in excitement. Standing up on a table, Cucurella sang confidently into the mic.

The player went on to repeat the same in front of the crowd in Madrid, where he sang that Erling Haaland will ‘tremble’ when Cucurella comes.
Seeing the funny side of the same, his teammates recorded the player’s song as well. Despite having just one assist to his name throughout the tournament, the 25-year-old couldn’t have chosen a better moment for the same.

He started in every game for Luis de la Fuente‘s side except for the final group-stage game against Albania.
Chelsea star Marc Cucurella was Luis de la Fuente’s go-to man for the left-back position, as Spain went on to secure the European championship in Germany. Cucurella’s involvement to La Roja’s success cannot be understated in any way possible, as he was in the form of his life throughout the tournament.
As Spain beat England to the title with a 2-1 victory at Olympiastadion Berlin, Cucurella was quick to remember what English pundit Gary Neville had to say about him ahead of the tournament. Neville claimed that Cucurella will be the main reason why Spain cannot go ‘all the way’ at the Euros.

However, his words came to bite him back as Cucurella gave the match-winning assist to Mikel Oyarzabal . Cucurella’s grounded pass beyond Kyle Walker was forced into England’s goal thanks to a valiant effort by the Real Sociedad man.
