Rapids D Steven Beitashour retires after 14 MLS seasons

Defenseman Steven Beitashour retired Wednesday after 289 matches across 14 seasons with five MLS clubs. The 36-year-old fullback won the 2017 MLS Cup with Toronto FC and went to the 2014 World Cup with Iran.
