Borderlands 4 has been released today, and as usual with any game, Twitch, the live-streaming service all about games, has dropped some neat rewards, called drops, for Borderlands 4. These Twitch drops are usually in the form of in-game currency, cosmetics, and/or free weapons courtesy of the developers of the game. Here is what Gearbox is offering to players on Twitch and how to claim them.
Here are the Twitch drops for Borderlands 4:
Reward |
Time Requirement |
End Date |
---|---|---|
Watch, Drop, and Roll Echo-4 Drone Skin |
30 minutes |
Monday, September 29, 11:59 pm PDT |
Forsaken Chaos Legendary Shotgun |
2 hours |
Tuesday, September 30, 11:59 pm PDT |
Midnight Defiance Legendary Sniper |
2 hours (only counts partnered creators) |
Tuesday, September 30, 11:59 pm PDT |
The Forsaken Chaos Legendary Shotgun and the Midnight Defiance Legendary Sniper are legendary weapons that will scale with your current level and can be claimed by watching a certain number of hours of livestreams on Twitch on the official Borderlands Twitch channel and the Gearbox Twitch channel. For the Forsaken Chaos Legendary Shotgun and the Midnight Defiance Legendary Sniper, you must watch a collective of at least 4 hours (2 hours each) of livestreams on either channel. Gearbox does state that you cannot earn the rewards at the same time.
The Watch, Drop, and Roll Echo-4 Drone Skin is another Twitch drop players can claim if they watch for at least 30 minutes of a livestream; pretty doable if you ask me. Aside from the Twitch drops, Gearbox is also offering players a free weapon skin if they sign up for a Gearbox Shift account, and players could’ve received 4 legendary weapons had they pre-ordered the game. Borderlands 4 is out now on PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series, and PC, and don’t forget to claim these Twitch drops while they’re still available.
