Episode Revenant includes the first new dungeon of the year, Vesper’s Host, in Destiny 2. Vesper’s Host will be similar to raids, being the first dungeon to have a contest mode in Destiny 2, with the first three fireteams to clear the dungeon getting the glory and rewards.
The Destiny 2 Vesper’s Host Dungeon has been officially announced by Bungie to be released on October 11, 2024, three days after the launch of Episode Revenant. The contest mode of Vesper’s Host would be active for the first 48 hours after the release of the mode, and during this period, expect to face more aggressive enemies and intricate mechanics all over the dungeon. Once the first three fireteams have completed the dungeon and claimed their rewards, the Vesper’s Host normal mode will be made available to the players.
Bungie hosted a special developer livestream to reveal details about Destiny 2’s Episode Revenant. And with this new episode, comes one of the most anticipated content drops of the year in Destiny 2 and in the gaming community. It has been announced to officially launch next week on Tuesday, October 8, 2024, in Destiny 2. Before the livestream, Bungie had consistently talked about increasing the challenge in Destiny 2, and dungeons have forever been some of the most difficult endgame activities in Destiny 2 that require proper coordination between fireteam members to be able to succeed. With that, players concluded that since Vesper’s Host is the first dungeon to have a contest mode in the game, the new dungeon would be more challenging than any other dungeon in Destiny 2.
Clearing the Vesper’s Host dungeon within the first 48 hours of its release would win you a special emblem and the dungeon’s exotic weapon, including a few other rewards. Also, a fan-loved Destiny 1 weapon Ice Breaker, an Exotic Sniper rifle would be available to the players in the Vesper’s Host dungeon, as confirmed by Bungie in their 10th anniversary post. Bungie said, “As you may have already guessed thanks to our key art, a certain Exotic Sniper Rifle, one considered a myth by many at this point, is resurfacing in the upcoming Dungeon. We’ll share more info at a later date, but we hope this helped… break the ice.”
Destiny 2 is surely planning to bring some insane features, including the Ice Breaker Exotic weapon from Destiny 2 that players thought was a myth at some point, and a lot of rewards for players who beat the dungeons. Players are definitely going to be satisfied with what Bungie is doing with Destiny 2. In all, Vesper’s Host would be the most challenging dungeon in the game, and while that’s the case, it would offer worthwhile rewards to players who complete the dungeon. As the new dungeon is fast approaching, players are kept with sleepless nights as they all await the day and the moment of Vesper’s Host dungeon’s release.

Super Mario Galaxy is just like your usual Mario games, except it’s set in space. Both Super Mario Galaxy and Super Mario Galaxy 2 are being released on Switch 2 on October 2. There is much anticipation, but some fans are feeling that the game looks “unfinished.” Nintendo is bundling these two games–and this isn’t good news for most fans. It is pricey at $70, which is another complaint. Compared to the previous release on the Wii, it appears to be much less detailed and doesn’t have as much of a 3-D look. Nintendo’s Most Loved Super Mario is Nintendo’s most loved franchise. This particular game was originally launched on the Wii in 2007, with Super Mario Galaxy 2 being released the following year. They both earned massive acclaim. The game was then re-released on Switch as part of the limited-time 3D “All-Stars” collection. So Why the Dissatisfaction? It seems like the complaints on this game are mostly aesthetic. The excitement was high for this drop, especially since there is also a Super Mario Galaxy movie due to release in April of next year. But, after watching the trailer, some fans have been left disappointed. Texture Downgrades One Reddit user named RedditRedditReddit64 showcased screenshots comparing the trailer with the game on the Wii. These comparisons show what could be texture downgrades. There were surfaces on the Wii that had diamond plate metal and soil that now appear to be just flat colors. RedditRedditReddit64 elaborated: “I and others have noticed this weird inconsistency regarding the new ports’ textures, where some of them are a straight improvement in detail while others look completely washed out. I hope that these are simply unfinished textures that happened to slip through the videos and are awaiting replacements before release, but I have doubts.” Some commentors on Reddit agreed, while others insist that the textures are unfinished and some write it off to video compression. Nintendo themselves, however, have not yet confirmed whether these are finished graphics or not.
The Cowboys lost two offensive starters to high ankle sprains in Week 3. In addition to CeeDee Lamb going down, Tyler Booker will not be available to the team for the foreseeable future. Booker is expected to miss at least three weeks because of the high ankle malady he sustained in Chicago, AllDLLS.com’s Clarence Hill reports. ESPN.com’s Todd Archer pegs the timetable at 4-6 weeks. The latter duration being where this settles would make the first-round pick an IR candidate. Tyler Booker injury is another bad break for Dallas Cowboys This represents another bad break for the Cowboys, who have center Cooper Beebe on IR. Brought in after Zack Martin‘s retirement, Booker started at right guard in Dallas’ first three games. The injury also comes after second-year left tackle Tyler Guyton — the team’s 2024 first-round pick — missed several weeks due to a knee injury sustained early in training camp. Guyton returned in time for Week 1 but continues to see new faces along the O-line. IR is a possibility for both Lamb and Booker, Jerry Jones said (via WFAA’s Ed Werder). This comes after a report indicated Lamb was not an IR candidate. An IR transaction would sideline either until Week 8. Booker played through the injury but will take a seat for a while. If the Cowboys are planning on carrying Lamb on their 53-man roster, a Booker IR move would make more sense. Two of Dallas’ injury activations went to Jonathan Mingo and Payton Turner in August. The team will likely hold another for Beebe, and rookie running back Phil Mafah also landed on IR shortly after roster-cutdown day. These placements would stand to factor into the Cowboys’ decision with Booker. Weeks after the Martin news, the Cowboys drafted Booker at No. 12 overall. Sporting a keen eye for first-round talent over the past several years, the Cowboys only placed 12 first-round grades on prospects this year. This led to the team staying at 12 and taking Booker, doing so after previously eyeing Tetairoa McMillan. The Cowboys identified four All-Pro O-linemen (Tyron Smith, Travis Frederick, Martin, Tyler Smith) in Round 1 from 2011-22, and they will hope Booker — now opposite a guard-record contract given to Tyler Smith — will follow that path. The Cowboys have 2023 UDFA T.J. Bass and waiver claim Trevor Keegan as options to replace Booker. Bass would seemingly be the more likely option, having started five games from 2023-24 and having played in all three Cowboys contests this season. Keegan has not played this year.
The Green Bay Packers were hit with a fierce reality check in their 13-10 loss to the Cleveland Browns on Sunday afternoon. After dominating two of the best NFC teams (the Detroit Lions and Washington Commanders) from a year ago in their first two games of the season, Green Bay played one of the worst games of the Matt LaFleur era against the lowly Cleveland franchise. Indeed, the offense stalled despite numerous opportunities for big plays, and the special teams unit was (once again) a complete disaster. 14 accepted penalties against the Packers did not help either. Furthermore, injuries to starting right tackle Zach Tom and left guard Aaron Banks did not help matters. Banks suffered a groin injury, which was different from his previous ailment that kept him out of the Packers’ Week Two game. But Tom’s oblique injury, which he sustained in Week One, limited him to just a single snap on Sunday. Green Bay Packers head coach Matt LaFleur clarifies the decision to let Zach Tom play Prior to the start of the regular season, the Packers gave Tom a massive four-year $88 million contract extension. He is clearly the best offensive lineman that they have and can play any of the five positions there. Unfortunately, he injured his oblique in Green Bay’s first game and was not able to play in Week Two, just four days later. However, after practicing all week leading up to the Browns game, the Packers felt that he was healthy enough to play. They were wrong. As mentioned, Tom only lasted on snap before having to be removed from the game. On Monday, LaFleur clarified the decision to let him play. “I would chalk it up to it’s hard to simulate what these guys are going to go against in the game,” he said. “We did our best in terms of trying to put him through enough and certainly had him going in practice, but still, the game—it’s a different speed.” The good news, though, is that Tom did not make the injury worse. They just underestimated how bad it would hurt for him to play through in game speed. The bad news, on the other hand, is that Tom’s status for Week Four when the Packers travel to take on the Dallas Cowboys is still unknown. One would assume that, given how he could not play more than one snap on Sunday, that he will not be able to play. Fortunately, after the Cowboys game, Green Bay has a bye week, which will give Tom (and their other injured players) more time to heal.
The Pittsburgh Steelers sit at 2-1 on the 2025 NFL season after their Week 3 road win over the New England Patriots. This Steelers' defense has been criticized a lot through the first three games, and rightfully so for the most part. They have given up an average of 386 total yards per game. That’s just too much when the quarterbacks you faced are Justin Fields, Sam Darnold, and second-year QB Drake Maye. While the Steelers have shown flashes of dominance, particularly in pass-rush situations, the overall defensive performance has raised concerns about whether this unit can consistently stop opposing offenses. Now, during the Steelers’ 21-14 Week 3 victory in New England, the defense forced five turnovers, including two in the red zone. Those plays were massive, but the question remains: is that level of production sustainable? Obviously not. Steelers media member Bob Pompeani pointed out something very interesting on social media on Monday. Pompeani revealed that the Minnesota Vikings will be without their starting left guard, Donovan Jackson. Jackson’s absence opens a potential vulnerability in the Vikings’ offensive line, and it creates a favorable matchup for Pittsburgh’s defensive front. Backup left guard Blake Brandel will be stepping in against the Steelers in Dublin, Ireland, and this shift could give Cam Heyward and the rest of the defensive line an opportunity to dominate early in the game. Heyward’s presence alone is always a game-changer, but facing a backup lineman significantly increases the Steelers’ pass-rush and run-stopping potential. If Heyward can exploit this matchup, it could set the tone for the Steelers’ defense and help mitigate some of the struggles they’ve faced in the first three games. While the defense still needs to tighten up in coverage and limit big plays, this matchup in Dublin could give Pittsburgh a much-needed edge and possibly a blueprint for slowing down an offense moving forward. As for Heyward earning his money, it’s pretty clear what transpired toward the start of the 2025 season and the end of the offseason. It was leaked that Heyward had been negotiating with the Steelers since early February 2025 about a new deal. This upset Steelers fans, as Heyward had just signed a new deal before the 2024 season. Heyward had turned in an All-Pro season in 2024. He felt he deserved to be compensated for his play and didn’t want to play on his current valuation for the 2025 season. The Steelers addressed this by reworking a deal with Heyward that included incentives. According to Mike Florio’s source at Pro Football Talk, the incentive package is straightforward and clear-cut. Steelers' Cam Heyward Looking To Earn $3.2 Million Bonus In 2025 Heyward gets $1.6 million if he records eight sacks and the Steelers make the playoffs. He earns another $1.6 million if he reaches 11.5 sacks and the Steelers win a playoff game. That’s a total of $3.2 million for Heyward, and currently, he has just one sack through the first three games. In Ireland, he’ll have a favorable matchup to help rack up some sacks toward his incentive bonus. But none of that matters if Pittsburgh doesn’t at least make the playoffs, and for the second half of the bonus, they have to win a playoff game, something a Mike Tomlin team hasn’t done since the 2016 season. Heyward will be looking to rack up sacks in Ireland and will be hopeful that his money will be "Dublin" after Week 4 helps him reach his incentive goals. Are you expecting Steelers' Cam Heyward to fill up the stat sheet in Week 4 in Dublin, Ireland? Why or why not?
