Secrets 1 & 2: Early Rewards

• Life Sigil

Life sigils can be and are useful in Doom: The Dark Ages. Shortly after demolishing the first wooden barricade, turn right, climb a gentle slope, and leap across a destroyed bridge. There, on a moss-covered protrusion, is your first life sigil to enhance health regeneration.

• Ruby & Gold Cache

Open the subsequent gate with the yellow key, clear the demons from the area, then drop off the left side onto a secret lower cavern. Traverse the waterway passageway, grab the jump pad, and ascend a route to earn a valuable ruby and gold stash.

• Secret 3: Abyssal Forest Codex Entry (Collectible)

Just before advancing to the next zone, you’ll face a line of shield demons. To your right, break through a wooden barricade to reveal the Abyssal Forest codex entry, unlocking lore about this haunted woodland.

Secrets 4–6: Barracks and Shrine

• Gold Chest

After shield-jumping across a large gap en route to the Sentinel Shrine, descend a hill and bash open another barricade to find a glittering gold chest.

By the Sentinel Shrine arena entrance, go up the lit hill, toss your shield at a chain to knock over a hanging statue, fall into the pit, kill enemies, and collect more gold.

• Life Sigil

Go back to the shrine entrance, go left, and climb a set of boxes and walls to get to the top wooden platform for a second life sigil.

Secret 7: Witch Toy (Collectible)

From the Sentinel Shrine, drop onto the map’s edge and follow a curving path to a circular arena with fire-cannon traps guarding a caged toy. Hit the red padlock with your shield, followed by the blue switch to release the Witch toy and unlock an achievement.

Secrets 8–11: The Central Tower & Mine

• Ruby

Directly in front of the arena entrance stands a tall tower. Break a hidden chain to lower a climbing wall, ascend the building, and work across cracked stone to claim a second ruby.

• Gold Pile

Traverse the right side of the central tower balcony, break a hidden chain, and enter a locked alcove to collect a pile of gold.

• Gold Bars

Having cannon-shot directly through the green rock wall, look directly back below the path you dropped from to find neatly grouped gold bars.

• Gold Chest

In the mine beyond the grenade launcher gate, see green globs on the tunnel wall, shield jump to a hidden cavern, then negotiate carefully across the dark chasm to the final gold chest.
