ELESTRALS AWAKENED Blends Mythology and POKÉMON (Exclusive Look)

An epic adventure full of gods, titans, and champions awaits you with Elestrals Awakened, a pixel-art, 2.5D indie RPG video game that blends the spirit of Pokémon with rich storytelling of Greek mythology. Born from the popular Elestrals TCG, this game is the next level up for this adorable world that’s full of lore and elemental forces. Elestrals Awakened is crushin’ it on Kickstarter, and we have your very first and exclusive look at some of the game’s concept art.

This amazing and incredibly stylish character is none other than Ares, the God of War. Fans of the Elestrals TCG know this handsome guy well. But here’s a little more information about how he will show up in Elestrals Awakened.

The battlefield blazes anew as Ares, the Solar Divine of War, descends upon Elestrals Awakened. Joined by his radiant champion Celestleo, Ares commands the legendary Coliseum, a sacred arena where only the most elite Casters prove their strength before the Gods themselves. Every clash within its hallowed halls echoes with the roar of glory, skill, and honor.

But beneath the triumphs of the Coliseum lies a stirring prophecy: the Titans, long imprisoned by Ares, the Divine Gods, and the Awakened Elestrals, stir once more. As celestial fires ignite, Ares stands ready to lead a new generation of heroes in a battle that will decide the fate of the Elestrals.

For those not in the know, here’s more information about Elestrals Awakened overall: “Born from the smash-hit trading card game, Elestrals Awakened brings the rich lore, elemental forces, and epic adventures into a fully realized interactive world. Step into the role of a Caster, forge a bond with a Spirit companion, and explore the elemental lands as tensions rise and ancient powers awaken!”

We love an adorable spirit companion. (That’s where the Pokémon vibes come in, see?) Elestrals Awakened will have over 100 unique creatures to bond with, train, and clash alongside as you journey across ancient ruins and incredible arenas. But can you bond with them all? Will you be legendary? You’ll only know if you get into the game. Kickstarter backers who include the digital game in their pledge can choose a Steam code or a Nintendo Switch code. That choice will happen at the end of the campaign.

Backers who receive closed Beta access and/or closed Alpha access codes will receive these codes for Steam only. If you opted for the Nintendo Switch code, you will still receive Beta and Alpha access on Steam.

Ultimately, we love a good mythological game and adding a Pokémon “monster catcher” angle to it is just genuis. We can’t wait to play Elestrals Awakened.
