Fortnite has Rock Band now. Fortnite Festival is a game of two halves: on one side it’s a cooperative rhythm game where you and your friends, dressed to the nines in your best Fortnite skins, take to the stage and press buttons in time with notes floating down the screen. On the other, you jam it out, selecting loops from popular songs before mashing them together to create something uniquely cursed. The latter feels more like a fun distraction, and it got more than a laugh out of my preview group as we mashed Gangnam Style up with Mr. Brightside, but it’s not something I can see people spending a lot of time with.
