LCK 2025: KT Versus BFX Game One – BFX Starts With a Clean Victory

KT Rolster takes on FearX in the second series of the LCK Playoffs. KT is the favorite in the matchup, but they must perform to hold off BFX. BFX played out one of the cleanest games of professional League of Legends that we have seen. Once they got a lead, it seemed like it was GenG playing, not BFX. Will this form continue in the rest of the series?

LCK 2025: A Standard Draft For Both Teams

KT and BFX picked a standard draft. All ten champions are high priority for all teams in the LCK. Who will execute the draft better, considering they have had plenty of time to practice this style of composition?

KT Composition

  • PerfecT – Ambessa
  • Cuzz – Pantheon
  • Bdd – Ryze
  • deokdam – Corki
  • Peter – Leona

BFX Composition

  • Clear – Rumble
  • Raptor – Xin Zhao
  • VicLa – Taliyah
  • Diable – Lucian
  • Kellin – Braum

LCK 2025: KT Early Mistakes Give BFX a Lead

The game started slowly between these two teams. The first blood happened in the first Drake fight. Peter went too far in his attempt to punish VicLa. Cuzz managed to steal the Drake, but Peter teleported back to die again. Cuzz would die as well, giving three kills to Diable, setting BFX up to dominate the rest of the game.

LCK 2025: BFX Runs Away With the Game

BFX took the lead they garnered after the first Drake fight and never looked back. Every team fight went in their favor. The only scary moment was KT diving onto Diable, but he survived on single-digit health. The cleanest fight from BFX was their setup on the Atakhan. Many teams have thrown leads on the objective. It never looked like KT had a chance to win the Atakhan fight. KT would get five kills throughout the game, and BFX started the series at 1-0.

BFX With More Work to Do

BFX has begun the series in the best way possible. Winning a game in a dominant and controlled fashion. However, there is still plenty of work to do in this series to advance to Round 2 of the Playoffs. We saw yesterday that winning the first game does not guarantee a series win. Will KT prevent BFX from getting a significant lead on Diable again?
