Hold on to your Titans, everyone! The rumor mill has rebooted and we are freaking out! A fresh leak has claimed that Titanfall 3 is not only real but almost complete! Did we even read that right? Yeah, you’ve heard this before (literally just the other day), but things might be heating up in the Titanfall 3 universe with this laundry list of supposed features that will probably make even the most jaded fan perk up and shout, “Prepare for Titanfall!” (yes, we’re cheesy).
According to infamous Apex Legends leaker Osvaldatore, Titanfall 3 is allegedly in the final stages of development and will:
If that list is real, then Respawn has been very busy and even more tight-lipped about this development while keeping us distracted with Apex cosmetics.
Again, before you grab your Pilot’s helmet, here’s the reality check: Jeff Grubb, an industry insider, immediately poured cold water on the excitement. He claims the leaks are false and that Respawn isn’t actively working on a full-scale Titanfall 3. He did go on to admit that a small team headed by Steve Fukuda (Titanfall director), who were playing around with new ideas, but nothing close to release-ready as rumor state.
“This isn’t real. If you’re getting your hopes up, you should probably calm down.”
Well…ouch! (There goes our hearts again; we should have learned.)
So, we have leaks about the new Titanfall 3 hopefully being released in the next year, but then get side-rushed by an industry-in-the-know individual claiming that all leaks about the topic have been false. Which should we believe? Honestly, we should probably pay attention to Jeff Grubb more than the leaks. As much as we want Titanfall 3 to happen, if it was, the devs and other industry insiders would be giving vague comments that whet the appetite of the Titanfall fandom. But what do you think? Yay or Nay? Is Grubb using misdirection? Or should we finally give up?
