Pokemon GO Adding Generation 9 Pokemon

The highlight of this update is the debut of Paldea’s starters: Sprigatito, Fuecoco, and Quaxly. You’ll get a chance to catch them through a Special Research task launching with the update. Paldea Discovery Event Details

Pokemon GO is kicking things off with the “Paldea Discovery Event” from May 1 to May 15, 2025. During this time, you’ll see increased spawns of Gen 9 Pokemon, plus special raids that might feature some evolved forms. There will also be bonuses like extra XP and stardust to sweeten the deal.
