The Chicago Sky (9-30) are approaching the conclusion of their regular season, already eliminated from playoff contention, with their final five games set to unfold over the next week. This marks the end of star forward Angel Reese’s second season in the WNBA.

While Reese’s team success has been limited — missing the playoffs for the second straight year — she continues to establish herself as one of the league’s top players, earning two All-Star selections along the way.

Her impact off the court has been equally impressive. Reese is set to fully unveil her new signature sneaker, the "Angel Reese 1" with Reebok, on Sept. 18. The launch will include several unique colorways, with additional releases planned in the months ahead.

The latest colorway, announced Wednesday, is called “King Tiago,” named after her dog, which will be released in November.

"TIAGOOOOO," Reese posted. "My first bornnnn."

Fans reacted to the new color way:

"Naming a shoe after ur baby is a flex! The biggest!" A fan said.

Someone else added, "speak for everyone when I say WE are BUYING."

Another person wrote, "You just keep outdoing yourself! We need a lookbook for all the colorways."

"Ok, yeah. You’re cooking with these colorways," one more fan commented.

Angel Reese attaches meaning to nearly everything she does. She recently previewed an October release: a purple-and-black sneaker called the “Charm City” colorway, named in honor of her love for Baltimore and the Ravens.

Reese is set to become just the fourth active WNBA player to debut her own signature sneaker, with Indiana Fever star Caitlin Clark following in 2026 through her Nike deal.

Both Reese and Clark have become global stars in basketball, playing key roles in the sport’s growth, which has seen tremendous strides since they were drafted in 2024.
