Caitlin Clark had a forgettable second season for the Indiana Fever in 2025. She started the campaign off strong, but was forced to miss multiple games due to injury. Clark suffered a groin strain right before the WNBA All-Star game. What was initially a day-to-day issue, eventually turned into a season-ending injury. The former Iowa Hakweyes star was limited to just 13 games in her second season.

With Clark sidelined, the rest of the Fever had to step up. Fourth-year guard Lexie Hull was one of the players who had to carry a heavier workload with Clark out of the picture. Hull played all 44 games for the Fever last season, starting 30 of them. She averaged 7.2 points, 4.3 rebounds, 1.8 assists, 1.2 steals and 1.3 three-pointers, while stepping up as the team’s best defender.

On a personal level, Hull recently marked a major life milestone. This is after she got engaged with long-time boyfriend, Will Matthiessen.

Hull recently had a bachelorette party in Scottsdale, Arizona with some of her closest friends. She shared some photos of what appeared to be an extremely fun trip on social media.

“already counting down the days until we run it back in Mexico ” Hull captioned her Instagram post.

Clark was not able to join Hull and their friends on the trip. The two-time All-Star was in Puerto Rico with Team USA for the FIBA Women’s World Cup Qualifying Tournament. Clark was named MVP after leading USA Basketball to a 5-0 record.

Despite being absent from the bachelorette party, Clark expressed her excitement ahead of Hull’s wedding.

“Can. Not. Wait,” commented the Fever superstar.

Clark may have missed the trip to Scottsdale, but she definitely plans on attending the wedding in Mexico. Much like Hull, Clark is also already counting the days until the major event.
