The Indiana Fever are 2-1 in the 2025 WNBA season as the team looks to build off their 20-20 record from a year ago, led by last season's Rookie of the Year, Caitlin Clark.
With Clark as the new face of the league, her former Iowa teammate, Gabbie Marshall, has transitioned away from basketball and is now focusing on personal endeavors.
Recently, she shared a TikTok video documenting her training for a half marathon, captioned: "Hottest run I’ve ever done in my life (Don’t mind my facial expressions & heavy breathing lmao) #running #halfmarathontraining #runner."
Clark responded to Marshall's post with a series of supportive and humorous comments, including, "Keep taking it nice and slow," "U know it's hard when ur sweating. U never sweat ," "Watching u stretch made me laugh idk why keep it up !!!!!!!!," and "Ur so funny ."

At Iowa, Clark became the NCAA Division I all-time leading scorer with 3,951 points and set the record for most career three-pointers made at 548.
She won back-to-back Naismith College Player of the Year, AP Player of the Year, John R. Wooden, Honda Sports and Wade Trophy awards in 2023 and 2024.
In February, Clark had her No. 22 jersey retired by Iowa.
Marshall, meanwhile, spent five seasons playing for the Hawkeyes, averaging 6.6 points, 1.7 assists, 1.5 rebounds, and 1.4 steals over 166 career games.
Prior to committing to Iowa, she won state titles in 2017 and 2019, and was named to the all-state team three times playing for Mount Notre Dame in Cincinnati, Ohio.
