Can the Aces get revenge against the Liberty?

The Las Vegas Aces continue their east coast road trip as they take on the New York Liberty tonight at 5pm PT on ESPN.

The Aces and the Liberty are 32-32 all-time over 64 regular season meetings dating all the way back to the inaugural season of the WNBA.

Las Vegas has dropped the last 5 meetings against the New York. On August 13, the Aces will host the Liberty at home.

The Liberty opened up the year undefeated, going 9-0, but have gone 3-6 in their last 8 games. New York is currently without the talents of Jonquel Jones. Jones is missing in action due to an injury.

New York were without Leonie Fiebich, who started in 9 games and averaged 6.7 points and 3.8 rebounds per game before leaving for the European Championship. She returned just in time for their last two games where she averaged 6.0 points and 3.5 rebounds per game.

The Aces and the Liberty are atop the league when it comes to the free-throw line. The Aces are completing 84.4% of their free-throws, while the Liberty sit at second-best with 82.3% from the line.

The Las Vegas Aces are led by reigning MVP A’ja Wilson. Wilson is averaging 23.1 points and 8.3 rebounds per game since returning from concussion protocol where she missed three games.

Chelsea Gray is averaging 12.8 points per game and needs just 3 more steals and 1 block to to become the 5th player in WNBA history with at least 4,000 points, 1,000 rebounds, 1,500 assists, 400 steals and 100 blocked shots.
