The Chicago Sky took down the Los Angeles Sparks on Tuesday night, giving them a 4-10 record during the 2025 WNBA season. This victory snapped a three-game losing streak for the Sky.
Second-year forward Angel Reese led the way for Chicago, contributing 18 points, 17 rebounds and six assists. The 2024 WNBA All-Star selection also pitched in a season-high four steals in the victory.
Kamilla Cardoso, a 2024 All-Rookie selection, scored a career-high 27 points against Los Angeles. The former first-round pick also chipped in seven rebounds and three assists in 30 minutes, and Ariel Atkins added 13 points in the win.
Chicago lost its previous matchup to the Sparks in just their third game of the season back on May 25 in Los Angeles. Tuesday's win avenged that 93 to 80 loss that the Sky suffered earlier in the year.
After the game, the Sky posted a video of their antics in locker room as they celebrated the win. They also included a clip of a heartfelt speech made by first-year head coach Tyler Marsh.
"Keep believing. Keep fighting. Keep staying together. GOODNIGHT SKYTOWN ," the Sky wrote.

Chicago's next game will be on Friday against the 7-6 Golden State Valkyries. This will be their first crack at the WNBA's newest expansion franchise.
Tipoff is set for 10:00 p.m. ET at the Chase Center in San Francisco, California.
