Chicago Sky Make Kamilla Cardoso Announcement After Sparks Game

The Chicago Sky were looking to snap a three-game losing streak, recently facing the Los Angels Sparks. 

Chicago defeated the Sparks 97-86, getting back in the win column after phenomenal games from Kamilla Cardoso and Angel Reese. 

After the win over Los Angeles, the Sky announced the "Player of the Game," giving the honors to Cardoso. 

"CAREER-HIGH 27 POINTS FOR KMILL," posted the official social media account of the Chicago Sky. "presented by @MagellanCorp | #skytown." 

Kamilla Cardoso finished the matchup against the Sparks with 27 points, seven rebounds and three assists. She posted career high in points, sinking in her first three-pointer of the season in the process. 

Angel Reese had a phenomenal game for the Chicago Sky. She finished the --- win over the Los Angeles Sparks with 18 points, 17 rebounds and six assists. 

Chicago guard Ariel Atkins also finished the game in double figures, posting 13 points, two rebounds and five assists. 

The Sky had great production from their young core, riding the success of Reese and Cardoso during their sophomore seasons in Chicago. 

The Chicago Sky have now moved to 4-10 on the season. They entered the matchup against the Sparks one game behind Los Angeles and made a statement on Tuesday. 

Chicago will look to spark a win streak on Friday when they play the Golden State Valkyries for the first time this season. 

Golden State has shocked fans around the WNBA community, building a solid core in their inaugural season. They stand as the No. 6 team in the WNBA with a 7-6 record.
