Angel Reese arrives at the 2025 Chicago Sky camp off a historic run the last few years both with LSU and last season in the WNBA.

Drafted seventh overall by Chicago in 2024, Reese immediately established herself as one of the league’s premier rebounders. She averaged 13.6 points and 13.1 rebounds per game, setting the Sky’s single-season rebound record with 446 boards.

On Saturday, the Sky officially revealed their 2025 training camp roster via X, with Reese as one of the centerpieces.

The 18-player roster is headlined by Reese and features a mix of established veterans and young talent, such as Courtney Vandersloot, Ariel Atkins, Rebecca Allen, Kamilla Cardoso and Michaela Onyenwere.

Also featured are four 2025 draft picks in Ajša Sivka, Hailey Van Lith, Maddy Westbeld and Aicha Coulibaly, all vying for final roster spots.

Training camp opens Sunday, with preseason games beginning May 2 and the regular season tipping off May 16.

Sky coach Tyler Marsh now has a deep, versatile group built around Reese’s interior dominance.

Reese ended her 2024 rookie campaign with the second-most double-doubles in a season (26) and the highest rebounds per game average (13.12) in WNBA history.

As the Sky aim to improve on a 13-27 finish in 2024, Reese’s availability and growth will be critical. With her track record of setting records at every level, all eyes will be on Reese when the season tips off.
