Caitlin Clark emerged onto the WNBA scene as one of the biggest stars the league has ever seen.
The Indiana Fever star has been phenomenal for her team the past two seasons, but she's recently hit an obstacle that fans are waiting for her to hurdle.
Clark has been out of the lineup for three straight games and the Fever recently announced that she will be missing the team's next matchup against the Las Vegas Aces.
Indiana's star guard is dealing with a groin injury and is currently the only Fever player that's receiving DNP treatment due to injury.
"Status Report for tomorrow's game against Las Vegas: Damiris Dantas - NWT (national team obligation) Caitlin Clark - Out (left groin)," posted the official social media account of the Indiana Fever.
The Fever will face the Las Vegas Aces on Thursday at 7 p.m. ET.

Caitlin Clark will prepare to miss her ninth game of the Indiana Fever's season. Before missing time with a groin injury, Clark also missed five games with a quadriceps injury.
While Clark has been out of the lineup, the Fever have mainly relied on Aliyah Boston and Kelsey Mitchell, both of whom are in line to make the WNBA All-Star game.
During her second season with the Indiana Fever, Caitlin Clark has posted 18.2 points, 5.0 rebounds and 8.9 assists per game. While she's had incredible numbers, Clark's health has been a concern as of late.
Clark will have another opportunity to return to the lineup when the Fever face the Los Angeles Sparks on Saturday.
