Indiana Fever Make Request After Second WNBA Playoff Loss

After beating the Las Vegas Aces in Game 1 of their WNBA semifinals showdown, the Indiana Fever got blown out in Game 2, 90-68.

No Fever player scored more than 20 points, with Odyssey Sims leading the team in scoring with 18 points. Kelsey Mitchell — who was unreal in Game 1 when she dropped 34 points — made just 13 points on 4-of-14 shooting during Tuesday's contest.

For the Aces, five players scored in double figures, with A'ja Wilson dropping 25 points. The 2025 WNBA MVP also tallied nine rebounds, five steals and two blocks.

The defeat marked just the Fever's second loss in this year's WNBA playoffs. They previously dropped a game in their first-round series with the Atlanta Dream.

Now, as their playoff series with the Aces shifts to Indiana for Games 3 and 4, the Fever have sent a message to their fans urging them to show support for the team.

In a post on Instagram, the Fever shared a video of Aliyah Boston and Lexie Hull talking about the Indiana fans and how "they show up and they show out" in every game. They then proceeded to issue their request, calling for the supporters to "be there" at Gainbridge Fieldhouse for their upcoming matchups.

Game 3 of the semifinals is on Friday, while Game 4 is scheduled for Sunday. Both Indiana and Las Vegas are tied at 1-1 after splitting their first two meetings, so the Fever have a chance to close out the best-of-five series at home.

Indiana has played just one home game this postseason, and it was nearly sold out with over 16,600 fans attending. That being said, the team can certainly expect more fans to show up — even though Caitlin Clark is not playing — especially as they attempt to get closer to the WNBA finals.
