Minnesota Lynx guard Kayla McBride will replace injured Atlanta Dream guard Rhyne Howard in Saturday's WNBA All-Star Game in Indianapolis.

Commissioner Cathy Engelbert announced the roster change Tuesday with Howard (left knee) expected to miss the rest of the month.

It is the second straight All-Star appearance for McBride, 33, and the fifth of her 12-year WNBA career. She was also selected in 2015, 2018 and 2019.

She will play for Team Collier.

McBride entered Tuesday averaging 14.1 points, 3.1 assists, 2.3 rebounds and 1.2 steals in 19 starts for the league-leading Lynx (19-4).

She is tied for second in the WNBA this season with 50 3-point field goals (Howard leads with 56). McBride is the active career leader and ranks seventh on the all-time list with 669 triples.
