Angel Reese and the Chicago Sky didn't have the 2025 WNBA season they were hoping for under first-year head coach Tyler Marsh. With four games remaining, the Sky have been eliminated from playoff contention once again, leaving the second-year forward out of LSU asking for big changes.

Despite the Sky’s struggles, Reese found individual success this season, earning her second WNBA All-Star selection. Now, she’s turning her attention off the court, joining WNBA legend Sue Bird and U.S. soccer star Alex Morgan in a big venture.

On Thursday, it was revealed that Reese is joining the ownership group of TOGETHXR, a media and commerce company founded by Bird, Morgan, Chloe Kim and Simone Manuel. The company is known for its trademarked "Everyone Watches Women's Sports" slogan, which has become popular across the WNBA.

"Reese will join with co-founders Alex Morgan, Sue Bird, Simone Manuel, and Chloe Kim who started the TOGETHXR collective to bolster women's sports by delivering authentic storytelling," TOGETHXR posted on Instagram. "Reese is a member of TOGETHXR’s newest wave of athletes, which also includes Michelle Wie West. She hopes to bring a new lens to the group."

While the announcement acknowledged Reese’s recent comments about her Sky teammates, for which she apologized, Bird still expressed excitement about Reese joining the TOGETHXR team.

“TOGETHXR was built to challenge the system and prove what we’ve always known: that women in sports set the standard, shift the story, and drive the conversations that matter,” Bird commented. “Angel Reese is already doing that. She brings a confidence and leadership that not only defines her but adds to the legacy we’re building as we continue to push women’s sports forward.”

TOGETHXR has also added "The Angel Reese x TOGETHXR Oversized Unisex Jersey," which costs $80.

"It's huge for me," new co-owner Reese added. "It means standing alongside women who aren’t just legends in their sports, but real trailblazers in business and culture. They’ve opened doors for so many of us, and now I get to lock arms with them and keep pushing things forward. That’s powerful."

The Sky will be back in action on Friday, facing Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever. However, Reese will not be available after picking up her eighth technical foul on Wednesday, earning herself a one-game suspension. And there is no timeline for Clark's return to the Fever from the right groin injury that has kept her out of the lineup since July 15
