Highlights:
WWE is cooking right now. Each of the Crown Jewel matches are personal, layered, and high-stakes. Major props to Triple H and the creative team for putting together a banger card.
With future big events like Survivor Series and John Cena’s last match on the horizon, the stories coming out of Crown Jewel will take us through the end of 2025.
Here are five potential swerves that would light a rocket of excitement.
The tension in The Vision is obvious. Last Friday, Rollins didn't listen to Heyman. On Raw, Heyman teased leaving Rollins. Cody has questioned Heyman's loyalty.
What if Brock Lesnar returns, costs Seth Rollins the Men's Crown Jewel Championship Match, and then decimates Rollins with F-5s to the approval of Heyman, Bronson Reed, and Bron Breakker?
Heyman and Lesnar could officially be reunited, and Lesnar could become The Vision's new leader.
John Cena's final match is around the corner. With only three dates left between Crown Jewel and the big event, WWE could establish Cena's next story this weekend. We have not seen Gunther since SummerSlam. What if "The Ring General" returns and confronts the "Never Seen 17"?
However, if the rumors are true that WWE plans to hold a tournament to determine Cena's last opponent, then tomorrow's match might end with a feel-good moment between Cena and AJ Styles.
Rhea has felt like the fourth wheel in the story of IYO Sky, Asuka, and Kairi Sane . While Asuka has been presented in the most compelling light of her career, IYO has upside as a top heel. There would be no better place to turn IYO than against Rhea Ripley in Ripley's home country of Australia.
Speaking of heel turns, WWE has been slowly building to something between Roman Reigns, Jey Uso, and Jimmy Uso.
Jey has been a mega babyface in 2025, but if it's his turn to run as a heel, he will get the most heat by turning against his cousin.
That moment would launch the next — and potentially best — chapter of the Bloodline yet.
This would be the swerve of all swerves. No one expects Cody to turn heel, let alone to align with Paul Heyman, Bronson Reed, and Bron Breakker. Heyman is already questioning why he picked Rollins. What if he aids Cody to his 4th win over "The Visionary"? Cody would become the new leader of The Vision, while launching the next chapter of his own career.
If this happens and is done right, it would be the moment of 2025.
