The company is looking to add to the onslaught as WWE’s schedule starts to fill up with several upcoming PLEs and specials. While their attention is on this week’s Saturday Night’s Main Event and later Money in the Bank, they’re also looking to go international.
WWE is looking to grow its presence in Mexico in a big way. New plans are said to be in the works for many live shows there, all leading up to a special “SuperShow Mexico” event. This information came from a WrestleVotes report that was shared last week.
The report stated, “We’re told WWE is planning to run multiple live events in Mexico in the near future, all centered around a featured ‘SuperShow Mexico’ event.” While the exact dates and places for this large event and any other shows are still being worked out, these plans are actively being made right now.
Adding to this news, Dave Meltzer, speaking on Wrestling Observer Radio, mentioned that WWE is indeed planning a large show for Mexico soon. He said that former Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes is expected to be the top star featured for this major event.
These reported WWE plans come at an interesting time for wrestling in Mexico. Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide, a well-known Mexican wrestling company that WWE bought in April 2025, is set to hold its big Triplemania Regia event on Sunday, June 15, 2025, in Monterrey, Mexico. All these developments point to an exciting period ahead for wrestling and WWE fans in the country.
