John Cena Wins Elimination Chamber, Joins The Rock In Huge Heel Turn

John Cena and The Rock sent shockwaves through the WWE Universe as Cena didn't just win the Elimination Chamber match and punch his ticket to the main event at WrestleMania, he turned heel on Cody Rhodes and joined The Rock.

Cena Wins The Chamber Match

In an incredible main event, John Cena outlasted every other star and forced CM Punk to pass out to win the Elimination Chamber match. He secured his way into the main event of WrestleMania 41, seemingly going in as a babyface to take on another babyface in the American Nightmare.

First to go was Drew McIntyre, who got caught up in his lust for vengeance against Cena. Damian Priest followed shortly thereafter, with Logan Paul going out third. That left Seth Rollins, Punk, and Cena. Rollins walked into a Go To Sleep and an Attitude Adjustment before being eliminated. Then, as it was down to Punk and Cena, Rollins stomped Punk which allowed Cena to apply the STFU and Punk passed out.

As Cody came out to celebrate with him, the two embraced but were interrupted by The Rock's music.

Cena Turns On Rhodes

When The Rock (accompanied by Travis Scott) told Cody it was time to make a decision, Cody said he had no soul to sell. He sold it to the ring and the people a long time ago. He then told The Rock to "Go f--- yourself!" The crowd went wild, as did Cena.

Cena then went to embrace Rhodes and as they were hugging, The Rock looked at Cena and Cena got a very serious stare on his face. The Rock gave the throat slash sign, and Cena kicked Rhodes in the groin. Cena, Scott, and The Rock then worked together to attack Rhodes.

Cena hit Rhodes repeatedly with a Rolex watch, then the title belt. Rhodes was busted open and Scott and Cena held Rhodes to The Rock could whip him with the weight belt he had made with Dusty Rhodes on it.

Cena, The Rock, and Scott all left Cody helpless in the ring. The show closed as all three men stared down Rhodes.

This Cena heel turn heading into WrestleMania is a huge moment. The thought was that Cena would never turn heel. The fact he's doing so in his final year before he retires makes this creative decision even more shocking for WWE fans.
