Dejected with his title loss at SummerSlam, Logan Paul has chosen to sue LA Knight in court. It stems from the latter’s alleged civil theft of Paul’s PRIME-branded Hummer and its eventual vandalizing. On SmackDown before SummerSlam, The Megastar fled away with Logan’s vehicle and arrived in it just before his match this past Saturday in Cleveland. Not only that, the real-life Shawn Ricker even destroyed the truck’s driver-side window.
As per the complaint filed by Logan Paul, he’s seeking compensatory damages in addition to attorney’s charges. He’s indeed having a forgettable time right now. Having lost the US Championship to someone he accused of having a lackluster career is certainly a shame. Despite Cleveland local and rapper Machine Gun Kelly sneaking in brass knuckles for Paul’s aid, the latter made a mess out of it.
All it took for Knight was one BFT to put Logan away. With that triumph, the former TNA Champion tasted his first title glory in WWE. The entire Cleveland Browns Stadium was on their feet for the coronation of the 41-year-old. It was a watershed moment for Ricker and might prove to be the shot in the arm he desperately needed after staying a red-hot fan favorite for the past year.

See you in court @RealLAKnight Logan Paul on X
At one point, he was managing the Maximum Male Models as Max Dupri. And today, he’s made the cut for the current crop of WWE Champions. Chief Content Officer Triple H once said that good things come to those who wait, in reference to LA coming short of winning last year’s Money in the Bank ladder match. The Megastar would feel that the wait is finally over. Although it did take a little while, Knight has made it.
After making history at SummerSlam, LA Knight did receive his fair share of love from fans and peers alike. One of the names he has previously worked with is Hurricane, who’s currently a producer for WWE. He took to X and levied heavy praise on The Defiant One.
The real-life Shane Helms recalled their time working together in TNA. Moreover, these two even wrestled each other once at an indie show. Hurricane lauded the never-say-quit attitude of Knight, which he proudly boasts of at times.
Very proud of this dude. From our time together in TNA, to a one off match in the Indies, to WWE, I’ve seen the progress, the work and the “never say quit” attitude. You’ve definitely earned this buddy!! #YEAH https://t.co/3oI29cj17R

For now, the former Eli Drake can celebrate. However, as he ushers into SmackDown as the brand new United States Champion, he’ll have some viable challengers lurking for his gold. It would be interesting to see with whom he’s up first.
