  • Paul Heyman's allegiance shift shocked all as he sided with Roman Reigns over CM Punk.
  • This only lasted seconds as he turned on Reigns in favor of Seth Rollins.
  • Heyman's history of turning on clients like Lesnar and Punk has been consistent.

The main event of WrestleMania 41 night one saw Roman Reigns, CM Punk, and Seth Rollins go to absolute war against each other, but one of the biggest stories from the match was the allegiance of Paul Heyman. He would work alongside Roman Reigns as the Wiseman for the last few years, but entered the match alongside CM Punk.

Seth Rollins would have some part to play as he tried to get Paul Heyman to do him a favor before the event, but it didn't seem like anything was actually going to come out of that once Heyman walked to the ring with Punk.

Paul Heyman Chooses Seth Rollins

Nearing the end of the match, after a festival of finishers and close victories, Paul Heyman would grab a steel chair before having to choose to either hand it to CM Punk or his former Tribal Chief, Roman Reigns. Heyman initially gave it to Punk before climbing in the ring with him and shocking the crowd by turning his back on Punk and realigning with Reigns.

That partnership itself wouldn't last long as Heyman started to help Reigns against Rollins, before turning his back on him as well and helping Rollins pick up a massive victory over Roman in the main event of WrestleMania 41 night one.

Heyman's Heel Work

This is nothing shocking coming from Paul Heyman, as he seems to turn his back on everyone he works with at some point. Former clients include Brock Lesnar, CM Punk, Cesaro, Ryback, Big Show, and more, all ending in a similar result. He and Reigns have worked together since the Pandemic and would rule over the WWE for many years.

After the match, Heyman would walk up the entrance ramp with Seth Rollins before shaking hands at the top. They would leave the stage together and seemingly form a new partnership that fans can expect to learn more about after WrestleMania.
