TNA iMPACT Preview (9/11/2025) – Total Non-Stop Minneapolis Action
Courtesy of TNA Wrestling

The Path to TNA Bound For Glory may be raging on, but Victory Road is in 3 weeks. On September 26, a new PLE takes place live from the Edmonton Centre in Edmonton, AB. The cards may be reshuffled, and we have three TNA iMPACT episodes to set the stage for this.

On the September 9 episode of NXT, Darkstate’s Cutler James said his name, and Joe Hendry appeared, coming to the aid of the challengers, Hank and Tank. However, DarkState was able to withstand the assault and leave with the NXT Tag Team Titles.

Earlier in the night, TNA World Champion Trick Williams reunited with his former ally, Carmelo Hayes, to set the stage for a big tag team match against DIY next Tuesday.

Usually, crossing the lines also means crossing the reviews. Victory Road or Bound For Glory may be TNA PLEs, taking a look at what happens on Tuesday nights has become essential to understand what may happen on Thursday nights.

Then, a major TNA title remains in the hands of an NXT talent. What remains terribly eNYGMAtic…

TNA iMPACT Preview & Card (9/11/25)

TNA iMPACT – Matches Announced

  • Winner gets a shot at the X-Division Championship – 4 Way Match: Trey Miguel vs Myron Reed vs Zachary Wentz vs Jake Something.
  • Jessie McKay (w/ Cassie Lee) vs Heather by Elegance (w/ M by Elegance & The Personal Concierge)
  • Joe Hendry vs Eric Young
  • Moose vs AJ Francis
  • The Nemeths vs The System (Eddie Edwards & Brian Myers) (w/ Alisha Edwards)
  • Mike Santana in action

The Stakes at TNA Wrestling

The X-Division Championship picture heats up when four of TNA’s most dynamic athletes collide in an X-Division Championship #1 Contenders 4-Way. Zachary Wentz, Trey Miguel, Myron Reed, and Jake Something battle for the chance to challenge Leon Slater at Victory Road. For Miguel, it’s a highly anticipated return from injury, while Reed and Wentz look to claim their spots in the spotlight. Who will face Leon Slater for the X-Division Championship?

After Young’s shocking attack left Hendry lying, the viral superstar is out for revenge. But Young has made it clear that “the cleanse” is only just beginning, and he plans to start with Hendry. Will Hendry find redemption under the bright lights of Minneapolis, or is he walking straight into a dangerous trap orchestrated by Young and The Northern Armory?

The returning Nic Nemeth teams with his brother, Ryan Nemeth. Their opponents: Eddie Edwards and Brian Myers of The System, with Alisha Edwards in their corner. After brutally attacking The Hardys last week, the Nemeths are looking to send another message, but The System never backs down from a fight. Which team will establish dominance in the chaotic TNA tag team division?

Last week, a heated confrontation erupted between Moose and AJ Francis, but now the talking is over. Will Moose prove once again that he’s the most dominant force in TNA, or will AJ Francis shock the world with a First Class victory?

The Knockouts Division continues to heat up as Jessie McKay steps into the ring with Heather By Elegance! With Knockouts World Champion Ash by Elegance and the Personal Concierge at ringside, McKay faces a tall task. Luckily, she’ll have her IInspiration partner, Cassie Lee, in her corner to even the odds. Can The IInspiration spoil The Elegance Brand’s momentum heading into Victory Road, or will Heather deliver another statement victory on behalf of Ash’s empire?

Mike Santana is set to challenge Trick Williams for the TNA World Championship at Bound For Glory, but first, he returns to iMPACT competition this Thursday night. With Trick vowing not to appear in TNA until he is contractually obligated to defend his title, Santana has promised to bring the fight to him. Can Santana make another emphatic statement as he builds momentum towards the biggest match of his career?

The Nygma’s View

Remember what TNA means: Total Non-Stop Action. This iMPACT episode is made of matches only, so it will be non-stop action.

Eric Young wants to cleanse TNA Wrestling of Joe Hendry. He voluntarily chose not to face him last week, which made Nygma say, “How could he cleanse Hendry if he doesn’t prepare the best ingredients for a good one?” Eric Young is a dirty player. I don’t believe in Joe Hendry – these are facts. However, Nygma says: Hendry won’t be cleansed as Young’s Northern Armory friends seem to be two anti-cleansing guys.

The Nemeths face The System. The match itself is not the most interesting thing, for three reasons. First, the Nemeths want their TNA World Tag Team Championship rematch against the Hardys. Second, the System has a massive stone on its shoe, called Order 4. And finally, the Nemeths seemed to have found a friend in Frankie Kazarian. So, Nygma says: The match is meant to end up in a DQ, and the after-match will be a huge brawl.

The 4-Way match for a chance at the TNA X-Division Championship is an interesting one. Myron Reed, Zachary Wentz, Trey Miguel, and Jake Something were all quoted by Leon Slater as opponents he wanted to face. There’s supposed to be one winner. Nygma says: Don’t expect me to say a name, because my choice is to put the four and Leon Slater in an Ultimate-X Match at Bound For Glory. That would be perfect.

Jessie McKay faces Heather by Elegance, with Cassie Lee, the Personal Concierge, and M by Elegance at ringside. I think we understood The Elegance Brand will face The IInspiration for the TNA Knockouts Tag Team Championship, whether at Victory Road or Bound For Glory. Expect hairspray, hairbrushes, peacock poses, but not a lot of very “Knockout” things. Nygma says: Nothing, and not because I’m happy.

Mike Santana faces the Unknown Soldier. As we don’t know yet who Santana will compete against, I name his opponent this way (in France, the Unknown Soldier is very famous; his flame never extinguishes). The surprise opponent may come from TNA, like NXT. Nygma says: A little bird is telling me Trick Williams may have someone special for Santana in his bag of Tricks.

Last week, Moose wished good luck to Mike Santana against Trick Williams at Bound For Glory. This week, Moose will need to be wished good luck against AJ Francis. As a member of the System, Moose won’t be alone. If not Trick Williams, AJ Francis could have Rich Swann by his side. Nygma says: My heart gives the win to Moose, but the match is meant to be a mess, and the after-match even worse.

I’ll see you on Friday for TNA iMPACT! “After The Bell.” Till then, may the Nygma be with you.
