Ultimate X field finalized for TNA Emergence

The field is set for the Ultimate X match for the X-Division title at TNA Emergence. Six competitors will vie for the X-Division Championship in Ultimate X at Emergence on August 30, with the final two spots decided in qualifying bouts on Thursday’s TNA Impact. Hammerstone defeated KUSHIDA and Frankie Kazarian in a triple threat qualifier on Thursday’s TNA Impact to qualify for Emergence. In Thursday’s other qualifying bout, Laredo Kid defeated Jai Vidal and Bhupinder Gujjar to earn the last spot in the Ultimate X bout. Laredo Kid and Hammerstone join current X-Division Champion Mike Bailey, Jason Hotch, Zachary Wentz, and WWe NXT’s Riley Osborne in the Ultimate X bout at Emergence. Bailey is set to defend the X title on the Emergence go-home edition of Impact next Thursday against Rich Swann. Four matches have been announced for Emergence to this point.
