Wrestling legend Mick Foley had some good news to share with fans following last week's horrifying car accident that he was lucky to walk away from.
On Instagram last Tuesday, the three-time WWE champion posted: "TOUGH DAY FOR MICK! ... I have no idea how I am still walking around after this accident. I'm in the hospital now, and I'm sore from my knees to my neck, including a minor concussion."
Thankfully Foley appeared to be mostly OK and the 26-year wrestling veteran had a more positive update for fans in a recent interview with TMZ.
"All things considered I'm feeling much better than I have any right to," he told the Hollywood outlet. "I mean I'm not gonna lie, I'm pretty sore ... but things could've been a lot worse."
Foley went on to explain that he had some nicks and cuts on his body and some soreness from his seat belt, but said he'd take that any day of the week over the other option.
"Lady Luck and 'The Man Upstairs' had something to do with it," Foley said. "But I'd much rather have a bruise on my chest than have not had a seat belt on. ... So if there's a lesson to be learned its: buckle up for safety."
We're all glad the 59-year-old is safe and here to tell the tale; and the WWE Hall of Famer says he's already back on the road and hasn't missed a day of work.
We'll continue to wish the best for Foley as heals up from his injuries!
