Sol Ruca challenges for the Women's Intercontinental Championship against Becky Lynch, and Oba Femi looks to repeat his dominating WrestleMania 42 win over an unretired Brock Lesnar. Rhea Ripley defends her Women's Championship against Jade Cargill, and Tribal Combat will determine whether Roman Reigns retains the World Heavyweight Championship, or if Jacob Fatu wins and becomes both Champion and the new Tribal Chief.
In what was likely the match of the evening, Rhea Ripley successfully defended the WWE Women's Championship against Jade Cargill. Although Cargill had assistance from B-Fab and Michin, it was Charlotte Flair who came to help even the odds, and a final Riptide put Cargill down for the three count, allowing Ripley to retain.
It was one of the best performances by Ripley so far this year, who consistently excels and is unquestionably the best Superstars in WWE. Cargill put on an incredible performance as well, silencing critics by proving she can stand with the best of them while giving another stellar dance with the Eradicator.
Sol Ruca has defeated Becky Lynch to win the Women's Intercontinental Championship today at Clash in Italy. A former Speed and Women's North American Champion, Ruca hit Lynch with a Sol Snatcher to win her first singles gold on the main roster in just under two months.
Sol Ruca has become one of the fastest rising new Superstars in WWE, and the win solidifies her as a major player in WWE's push to build the future of the company. Ruca's win opens up a major avenue to elevate the Women's Intercontinental Championship division with an exciting, Cruiserweight-style performance.
