WWE Friday Night SmackDown Preview: Title Match Before Elimination Chamber 2025

Tonight will mark the final episode of WWE Friday Night SmackDown before Elimination Chamber 2025.

This weekend's PLE event will feature two Elimination Chamber matches, an unsanctioned match, and a tag team match. While this Saturday's show will be held inside Rogers Centre, fans in Toronto will get an appetizer with the blue brand taking place at the Scotiabank Arena.

WWE United States Champion Shinsuke Nakamura will put his gold at stake against LA Knight. Last week, Nakamura cost Knight a tag team match against Carmelo Hayes and The Miz. Can Knight get revenge by becoming a two-time WWE United States Champion?

Speaking of United States titleholders, women's champion Chelsea Green will be in action. Last week, SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis announced that Green will be facing a mystery opponent.

Trish Stratus is set to make an appearance on the blue brand this evening. Last week, Stratus and Tiffany Stratton were on the receiving end of an Annihilator from Nia Jax. At Elimination Chamber, Stratus will team with Stratton to take on Jax and Candice LeRae. What does Stratus have in mind before the big PLE?

You can also expect appearances from participants in the men's and women's Elimination Chamber matches. That includes Drew McIntyre, Damian Priest, Bianca Belair, Naomi, and Alexa Bliss.

At the conclusion of WWE SmackDown last week, Jacob Fatu accidentally kicked his stablemate Solo Sikoa during the tag team main event against Priest and Braun Strowman. How will Sikoa react amid tensions with Fatu?

Friday Night SmackDown will air live on USA Network at 8 p.m. ET.
