The voice of wrestling, Jim Ross, has announced another cancer diagnosis.
Ross, who currently serves as a commentator for AEW, revealed on social media that he has been diagnosed with colon cancer. The WWE Hall of Famer is set to undergo surgery within the next week or two.
This isn't the first time Ross has gotten a cancer diagnosis. He has undergone medical procedures in the past for cancer. Ross has been able to overcome his battle with the disease before, and he's grateful for the concern and support from his family, friends, fans, and peers.

Surgery being scheduled in the next week or two.
I appreciate your concern and support.
Ross turned 73 this past January, and he's been battling through several health issues. While some fans have called for the legendary commentator to step away from wrestling, given there's nothing left to prove, Ross has said his love for the wrestling business keeps him in the industry.
Both Ross and Tony Schiavone have played a crucial role in the development of Excalibur, AEW's lead play-by-play voice. These days, Ross doesn't make as many on-air appearances. When he's featured on an AEW show, it's usually for big matches on a pay-per-view.
Wrestling fans know Ross best from his time in WWE, specifically during the company's infamous Attitude Era. The calls from Ross during that era were universally praised, and he was often credited for enhancing major segments and matches involving stars such as "Stone Cold" Steve Austin, The Rock, Triple H, The Undertaker, and many more.
Ross has been a part of the wrestling business for over 50 years.
