Javon Walkker Expected To Be Ready For Camp

Javon Walker is expected to be fully recovered in time for training camp.

Hopefull he will learn his lesson and travel with a little more caution (ahem - armed guard) next time.

It's messed up that he got beat down like that but, MAN! it could've been a straight disaster huh? It's really great news that the media probably over blew it and that he's going to be OK. Scary though. Thanks for the post!

It is alarming how athletes are becoming targets like this. I hope they will learn to be cautious and I'm not saying don't have fun but the excessive flaunting of wealth like that is just bringing the wrong kind of attention.

Yeah I definitely agree. I also find myself wishing that somewhat older athletes like Walker would give more thought regarding how their actions (even recreational) impact the younger players in the league (like Russell and McFadden etc.). I don't know maybe I'm just old fashion huh?

I can't blame a man for getting mugged (that's always the mugger's wrong) but I'd personally be embarrassed for putting myself out in a way that resulted in me holding up the progress of the team. I'm hoping that this will get Walker dialed in- if he wasn't already.

He'll be ready if he doesn't go to Vegas to Pop Bottles

one must pop bottles. it is every man's (and woman's) god given right and duty as an american citizen.

just travel w/ a body guard if you must make it rain dom p.

that's right girl it is and while i'm here getting mugged ain't nothin to be made fun of. . whatever it is what it is. i'm tired of seeing the trash talk about this incident a man got hurt. these incidents are becoming more frequent and you're right girlie he ought to have some muscle with him.
