"The Rosenhaus Effect" to blame for Boldin

I understand some agents are jerks, but at the end of the day they are business men just like the guys who run the teams. I agree with Boldin. There's no way Fitz should be making that much more money than him. Fitz is not better than him. I am not saying Fitz doesn't deserve the money, but Boldin does deserve more. Take Boldin away and then Fitz gets double teamed everytime and see how good his numbers are then because he doesn't have Randy Moss speed to just blow by people.

I agree that Fitz got paid more than he is probably worth. That was based on the genius of his agent who built in escalators in his salary that would have made him a $17 million hit on this years salary cap if not renegotiated. If Boldin's agent had done something similar there wouldn't be a discussion the Cards would have renegotiated. Fitz and Boldin are both great receivers but I think that the Cardinals will be just as good if Anquan isn't part of the equation. Heck they can't be any worse.

Sure but Boldin also promised to play for the Cardinals for a specific salary for a specific amount of money. By demanding a new contract isn't he in turn breaking a promise? I'm not saying the Cardinals hands are clean in this but Rosenhaus' clients have exhibited a pattern of complaining about their teams/contracts before they are up. He either is hired by a bunch of guys who think exactly alike or he is giving them all the same advice...bad advice.
