I know I havent blogged here in a long time, but Ive been busy plus the yard was getting too crazy for my liking. Anyway I'm up late, I see the usual Eagles threads, I liked the one about the first half predictions. I'm very excited about the Birds this year we could do big things if we stay healthy and score in the redzone, which was dismal last year. Booker, Jackson,Westy, and a healthy L.J. should give us plenty of opportunities to get the redzone efficiency up where it needs to be. With that said it wouldnt be Eagles training camp without some kind of controversy or crucial event concerning the team, so I'm wondering which one worries you guys the most? You have many to chose from, Abiamiri's dislocated wrist, Westy's contract situation along with Lito's, Jackson's&Samuels hamstrings, and Andrews "emotional problems." At the top of my list I would say Andrews because we need him to help spring Booker, Westy or whoever we have in the back field, and if someone's head isnt in the game that just doesnt put the team in a good position. Plus you also dont want someone who's unstable in any way shape or form in training cam where its hot and tempers flare without warning. So lets hope that the big kid gets whatever help he needs to get back on the field an help us get to Tampa. I hope that the contract situations also get handled especially on the Westbrrok front we need hi, although I think Booker will be good here and Buck can handle the work, there's no one like Brian Westbrook with the ball in his hand in open spaces. I hope that Abiamiri isnt out for an extended period of time, we need all the speed that we can get on the defensive line so we can create those INT's. Of course I want Jackson's hamstring not to be an issue during camp and the season, we need him on those punt returns as well as WR, and Samuel we paid him big money to come here so I wan to see him on the field to see how he plays in J J's scheme. All in all I'm excited but its a cautious excitement, I want us to be healthy for the opener at the Linc, and for the season. I know Andy Reid's camps can be brutal, I'm glad he started the 30 plus club especially for Dawk and McNabb, and the other guys. We need all the healthy and able bodies ready to go for the long haul.
