First and foremost I want to say thank you to all the first responders that helped during yesterdays tragic events, you are all true heroes. Sports are a very important thing here in Boston, we live for it. If our teams don’t do well we get upset and stay angry for the whole year until the next season. We are alike in that aspect. But after the tragedy in Boston yesterday there’s another thing we all have in common, not just Bostonians, but all Americans, human decency. As the entire world knows by now there was an attack on Boston yesterday during the Boston Marathon, two big explosions at the finish line resulted in three deaths, and 100+ injured, some of the injuries could end in more deaths. It was a horrific day. The attack took place on one of Boston’s happiest days, Patriots day; a day in Boston where we celebrate our city and also host the Boston Marathon.
