Boston's bullpen had something to prove. Down 5-3 headed into the top of the ninth, Kevin Youkilis hit a two-run homer and Rocco Baldelli notched a pinch hit game-tying two-run single. Julio Lugo drove in the go-ahead run in the 11th inning on an RBI single and the Red Sox pen did the rest. The bullpen pitched four scoreless innings retiring all 12 batters in a row.
