The Atlanta Falcons released suspended quarterback Michael Vick, opening the door for him to sign with any interested NFL team. Vick is eligible to immediately sign with a team even though he has not been reinstated by NFL commissioner Roger Goodell. Falcons general manager Thomas Dimitroff said the team relinquished its contractual rights to Vick on Friday.

Today Arthur Blank and the Atlanta Falcons have officially finalized the divorce with Michael Vick. Vick, if reinstated. will resume his NFL career with another club.
