Even though Manny Delcarmen showed no linger effects from this weekend's car accident, he has been left off of the Red Sox ALDS roster.  Paul Byrd will be the 11th man on the pitching staff and will come out of the bullpen. "We just talked to Manny," Francona said. "We're going to not activate him for this series. He actually threw pretty well yesterday. He'll be down today, he'll throw again tomorrow. I just think that all of this happened, it's probably not in his best interest. I think we were probably rushing it a little bit. So Byrd will be in our bullpen. Hopefully they'll be a time where we'll keep playing and we can have Manny back, but more at full strength." Most fans will be happy to give Delcarmen some more time away after how poorly he pitched in the last month of the season.  The team will wait until tomorrow to make a decision about Rocco Baldelli who is suffering from a hip injury.  Brain Anderson will take Baldel...
