WR Jerricho Cotchery (hamstring) returned to practice on a limited basis and was pleased with the results, so much so that he declared himself ready to face the Dolphins on Sunday. Cotchery faced the Dolphins three weeks ago with the bad hammy, and he aggravated it during the game, causing him to miss the next two games. As a result, the Cotchery-Braylon Edwards tandem really hasn't had a chance to perform at full strength. Barring a setback in practice, that will change Sunday. Other doings at the Flop: There is a definite edge to the team as it prepares for The Rematch. You can hear it and you can feel it in the locker room. The Jets want the Dolphins -- badly. Rex Ryan, in his presser, sounded like he wanted to grab a helmet and shoulder pads and get on the field himself.
