Vikings quarterback Brett Favre has not been feeling well and has been on antibiotics for two of the last three weeks, ESPN reported this morning. Favre was listed on the Vikings injury report this past week with a hip injury, which limited him in practice Wednesday through Friday. He was not on the injury report before games against the Baltimore Ravens and the Pittsburgh Steelers. He was last on the Vikings injury report before the St. Louis Rams game Oct. 12, with foot/ ankle/ knee injuries. Favre made the admission to ESPN reporter Ed Werder during a long talk Saturday night, and he added that he felt bad as recently as Friday. Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk suggested on his website that Favre was crafting a ready-made excuse for his emotional return to Lambeau Field today. "So, basically, Favre is saying, 'If I stink today, it's only because I have swine flu, polio, and/or lupus,' " Florio wrote.
