TEAMS: Chicago Bears, Cincinnati Bengals, Miami Dolphins
The Chicago Bears can no longer employ Tommie Harris. Today
was Tank Johnson's gun house and Cedric Benson's boat ride. I don't
care if he goes to another organization and leads the universe in sacks
and tackles-for-loss. I don't want him anymore and I think if you
polled fans, over 90% would agree with me.Al Afalava can not start. The guy is lost on blitzes and a terrible tackler.Lovie
Smith must be put on notice publicly by the organization. Either Jerry
Angelo or Ted Phillips must come out and state to gathered media that
Smith is not maximizing talent and hasn't out-coached an opponent since
the 2006 NFC Championship Game.Chris Williams should start at
left tackle Thursday night. If Williams is really the future at the
position, the Bears can ill-afford to waste eight weeks of
development. It's best now for both he and Cutler to get the
experience.Gaines Adams should be worked regularly into t...

Tommie Harris Isn’t Even Trying Anymore (Lutui Face-Punch Video)
Sixty-five seconds into today’s 41-21 drubbing courtesy of Arizona, Tommie Harris decided the best way to right his increasingly uncertain situation in Chicago was to punch a man in the face. The defense then proceeded to give up touchdowns on four straight possessions and the rest was awful, cursory history. Sounds like the worst game [...]

Scouting Report: Bengals-Ravens
When the Bengals run
Cedric Benson ran for 120 yards and ended the Ravens 39-game streak of holding a back under 100 yards in the first meeting, but linebacker Ray Lewis has been saying all week that was more due to the Ravens making mistakes. Benson has three 100-yard games and is second in the league [...]
Yesterday's five most valuable players: Cedric bends 'em
Cedric Benson(notes), Running Back, Cincinnati
Bengals. The Bengals were good yesterday. They were "legitimate
contender" good. It was a complete, all-the-way-round impressive effort.
Carson Palmer(notes) was sharp for four quarters, he got plenty of time to throw, and
the receivers allowed him to spread the ball around. Setting all of this up was
Cedric Benson, who...
Reborn Bengals Shut Baltimore Up
by Thomas GeorgeFiled under: Bengals, Ravens, NFL AnalysisCINCINNATI -- He is the king of smack, both verbal and physical. That is what Ray Lewis brings. He called Cedric Benson's 120-yard rushing day last month against the big-time, big-mouth Ravens defense a fluke. And Benson said Lewis brought an extra assortment of jive here on Sunday. "He started telling me how he...
NFL Busts, Breaks and Surprises
SURPRISE TEAM [NFC]: Chicago Bears. This is a team that came into the season with a rookie QB [Kyle Orton] and their project starting RB [Cedric Benson] holding out most of camp. We all knew they had a pretty tough defense...but the offense, though not stunning, is effective. Who knew they'd be 9-3 at this point in the season??
SURPRISE TEAM [AFC]: Cincinnati Bengals. Sure...
