The affiliates went 3-for-4 on the night, which wasn't too bad considering how they've performed on Friday nights in previous weeks. Both New Hampshire (!) and Dunedin had nice offensive outbursts.
Reno 3 Las Vegas 1Fabio Castro continues to pitch through a rough period. The diminutive lefty allowed three runs on seven hits and four walks in 4.2 innings of work. He struck out two batters. TJ Beam, who is pitching well, worked a scoreless 1.1 innings. Bubbie Buzachero had a nice outing with two innings of one-hit, no-run ball. Bill Murphy finished off the game with one scoreless inning. Offensively, Randy Ruiz had two hits, including his 34th double.
