Already thin at wide receiver because of Brandon Marshall’s suspension, the Broncos took another hit when Jabar Gaffney suffered a fractured thumb. Gaffney suffered the injury during Friday’s practice and was taken for X-rays following the workout with his hand heavily wrapped. It would mean Gaffney would be out several weeks as the hand heals.
