PLAYERS: Joey Porter
TEAMS: Miami Dolphins

by Josh AlperFiled under: Dolphins, Patriots, AFC EastWell, whaddya know, Joey Porter is back at the complaint department. The easily irritated Dolphin linebacker doesn't like all this talk about the Patriots being the favorite to win the AFC East in 2009. "I don't understand how you can put somebody in front of us. We won the championship. We were AFC East champions. I just don't think it's supposed to happen like that. You've got to beat somebody to be the champs. We had to beat somebody to be the champs." The only problem with Porter's reasoning is that the Dolphins had to beat the Chargers to be the champs.Joey Porter: We're the Team to Beat originally appeared on Fanhouse NFL Blog on Fri, 05 Jun 2009 15:45:00 EST . • Will this guy ever learn???
  • It should only be the media he has a problem with. Believe me, the Patriots are not talking any smack. They know that the reality of it is that you have to play the games. They will agree that Miami was the better team last year. It's not the Patriots fault that they are favored to win it all. What is for sure is that Porter's comments are already posted in the Patriots locker-room and they feed off this kind of stuff.
  • Remember this guy...

Miami Dolphins LB Cameron Wake

I had alot of hope for this guy, I still do. If you have not heard of Cameron Wake by now I am not suprised. His presence has been buried by the return of Jason Taylor (WELCOME BACK!).
